Summer Paddle Camp – half day

These camps focus on developing paddling skills in canoes and kayaks. Campers receive instruction in paddling technique, safety, and river navigation. We explore different sections of the Haw River each day, discovering different islands and stopping to learn about flora and fauna along the way. Campers also learn about efforts to preserve the Haw River.

Half-Day Paddling Camps are offered during the following weeks: July 2-6, July 9-13, July 16-20

Half-Day Paddling Camps are from 9:00AM to 1:00PM and cost $195/week

Shuttle Service 

Campers may choose to arrive at camp via a shuttle that will depart from Wilson Park in Carrboro at 8:30AM and return at 1:30PM for half-day camps or 4:30PM for full-day camps.

Shuttle: $20/week
