Calendar of Trips
We add trips to our schedule as they are requested. If you don’t see the trip you would like on our calendar you can register for the one you are interested in and we will add it to our calendar as long as our schedule permits. Trips are created on a first come, first serve basis so the further ahead you register the more options you have in trips and start time. Visit the Choosing a Trip page for guidance to help you decide which trip would be best for your group.
Outdoor activities are always subject to changes in weather. If there is just a light rain or passing shower we can go ahead with the trip. Incase of storms with heavy rains and/or lightning we will cancel the trip and notify you as far ahead as possible. Trip availability also depends on the river levels.

We have a Halloween tradition of putting on our "Pumpkin Paddle" event the last two weekends in October. This event takes place upriver of the Saxapahaw Lake Paddle Access. Before launching into this placid section of river, we take time to attach your carved pumpkin to your choice of canoe, single kayak, or double kayak. Illuminating the Jack-o-lanterns with candles or glowsticks, we set off for a 2-3 hour evening Paddle. For those not accustomed to paddling in the dark, a night time paddle is truly a unique experience. The glow of our groups pumpkins make for a grand sight to see.
Fee: $35 per person with guide, kayak or canoe, paddle/ PFD, and shuttle provided.
Advanced reservations required.
*Guests are asked to bring in a carved pumpkin for this trip!*

Nothing can be more beautiful than a full moon rising above a Piedmont lake. There is just something magical about moonbeams and water — and sharing the experience of looking at the moon with someone special, even if that someone special is just you.
Participants arrive early enough in the evening to practice paddling, enjoy a beautiful sunset and adjust their eyes to the night sky. As the moonlight gets brighter, we will paddle around to enjoy the night sounds. Eventually, we will “raft-up” and lay back to fully take in our surroundings.
Fee: $35 per person with the canoe/kayak provided, $30 per person with your own boat.
